Privacy at Visit Lyngen

We use the name, email, phone number and message you enter on contact and stay-enquiry forms so we can answer you, prepare a booking or follow up a stay. If you tick the cancellation terms on a booking enquiry, we keep that confirmation with the request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the lodge, and where relevant steps toward a contract with you.

This public website does not load Google Analytics, CookieYes, Facebook Pixel or similar ad trackers. Technical server logs (for example IP address and time) may be stored to keep the site running and secure. Forms use a hidden honeypot field and a short-lived form token — not cookies.

The booking search on some pages loads a widget from Hostaway / Holiday Future (a href="https://koppangenbrygger.holidayfuture.com/">koppangenbrygger.holidayfuture.com/a>). If you search or book there, that provider’s own privacy policy applies to data they collect.

We do not sell guest lists. Staff only see enquiries they need in order to help you. We keep messages as long as the stay or question requires, then delete or anonymise them unless the law says otherwise.

You may ask for access, correction or deletion, and you may complain to Datatilsynet. Cookies we may set (mainly for editors, plus the booking widget if you use it) are listed ona href="/informasjonskapsler">Informasjonskapsler/a>.
